While im writing this im doing that thing everyone allways talks about in relation to Wifi….Working outside of the usual work or home environment.

Im sitting in a little cafe/bar in Falmouth while writting this blog and its great fun. I had some work to do today and i really didnt fancy going home to do it..so i descided to find some free wifi. Luckleyt where i come from there are about 3 bars with free wifi and both out college campuses have free wifi to…its bloody greats..

A BBC article today is talking about users of wifi, the report suggests that people who use WiFi on a regualr basis engage with the Internet more…checking emails and news…and to be honest its great.

Im a bit of an internet fiend i have to say…..im allways online and am allways checking emails…and to be honest WIFI is amazing.

I think more buiness and coffee shops should provide it for free…more people will come along to that business if they know its there!

Neway WIFI…bloody amazing when using the internet outside of home!

I watched this documentary today which really made think a lot more about Alcohol and what it can do to a person when it is drunk in extreme circumstances.

The documentary was by Paul Watson, and called “Rain in My Heart” (2006). It was about 4 people from Gillingham in Kent, who suffered from Alcoholism. The documentary looked at these 4 people from the hospital that they were admitted to. They weren’t just the usual bung drinker, they were drinking about 2 bottles of vodka a night for example. Two out of the 4 die in the documentary.

The documentary kept making me question whether I should feel sorry for these people who were addicted to the drink for many different reasons. To be honest by the end of the documentary I left more sorry for the people who are trying to look after these people, the friends, the parent or the partner.

There were to key parts of the documentary, which made me feel so low and sad. Firstly there was one guy who was having liver troubles, he hadn’t drunk for about 8 years but died due to what he did. His wife loved him soo much and cared for him to the extreme, she was there with him, always being positive. When you were showed his funeral with his wife in tears, I had almost burst into tears myself.

The second most memorable point was watching one guy down tumblers full of red wine and then throwing them back up about 3 minutes after. It was shocking viewing and did put me off alcohol.

The whole thing just made me think about my friends and university life. People go out a drink all the time and get waisted, its when your friend cant go a day without a drink, or has to get really pissed every time you go out. It really made me think…

I would say watch this documentary and remember it. Tell your friends who may b worrying you. It might scares them and make them realise before its to late.

It’s been soo long since I wrote blog, it’s a bit weird as I have forgotten what to write on one of these thing.

The reason I haven’t blogged for a while is because I have spent the last month or so doing my dissertation. It was only about 6000 words but I had loads of reading to do. Every time I tried to do something unrelated to my course I felt bad, so yeah I apologise but no blogs!

So what else has happened in the past 5 weeks…ummm I now have a Freeview box with a PVR (Hard disk) so I have been recording loads of television…there has been loads to record….ugly betty, Skins, the OC, Waterloo Road, Desperate Housewive. To be honest its an amazing thing and I love it!

I also got a car the other day…its great…my parents bought me a cheap car for my birthday…and she is called GUF! She isn’t coming down till my mum comes to visit in march…I am really excited about this!

I have missed being creative to be honest…if you have been following my Flickr 365 project (which is the only thing that I have kept going) I think I’ve lacked a bit of creativeness which I hope to get back in the next couple of weeks……

I’ve spent the past two days making lists of things that I have forgotten to do or have been putting off and its massive so my life is finally getting back to normal after my dissertation.

The next couple of weeks are going to be exciting to. SU elections start and so that is going to be great fun and hard work…I wonder if anyone else is going to go for Falmouth president? I will find out an see..

Right that’s enough for now I think…
Have a look at my flickr to check out my Project 365..which is an amazing project…im only 43 pics in!
