I always knew that this week was going to be a weird one but to be honest I didn’t know how it was going to be. Let me explain the situation, right well ive now graduated from degree (got a 2:1) and its one of those weird times where all your friends move on in life, they move back home, they start a new job etc… but im still here.
Im currently sitting in my empty house, just about to go to bed after spending most of my day not talking face to face with a single sole in a place which is usually filled with conversation it’s a strange feeling. Ive spent my evening watch telli and wanting to run up stairs to tell my housemate what I thought and then I realise that they are not there.
Its sort of a limbo period, at the weekend I move into a new flat with new housemates in Falmouth. Things are going to be different as my closest friends are not around and im not actually going to be studying (And yes being one of the Presidents of the FXU (Students Union) is a full time job). Its like when you leave school after spending sooo many years of your life in education with the same people. You keep in touch with the closest of your mates and some people will fade away.
Change is always hard, but change is also good.
