Right bare with me……im announcing that I am classing 2006 as my year of music!
For me this year has been amazing on the music scene, I have never bought sooo many albums…from the shops and downloads. There is loads of really good songs out there at the moment. Not really all form the Charts (as they really don’t matter anymore!)
New Bands:
This has been my favourite music this year…there have been soo many new bands and artists on the music scene. This might have been through myspace or the fact that radio stations and companies seem to be more receptive of new bands! Here are some of my Recommendations from 2006:
Panic! At the Disco – they say this is emo but I love it! (my first album off iTunes)

We Are Scientists – What an amazing band..i predict they will be around for longer than you think
Wolfmother – Baught this for my dad for Christmas…love it though!
This artists have been around for a while…but this year I personally discovered them and they are amazing:
The Streets – this is amazing..not usually a hip hop fan (if that’s what you call it)
Amy Winehouse – Awsome Jazz voice
Fall Out Boy – have been around for a while but they made it big this year

The Doves
The second album is always a tricky one…but these artsist have done well!
Justin Timberlake
Nelly Furtardo
The Killer – this has been MY ALBUM OF THE YEAR
2007 looks really promising for music and I hope there artists will go far!
Jamie T – debut album out at the end of january
Air Traffic – Heard these guys on Zane Lowe…should be an excting debut album in may?
Bloc Party – Second album should be amazing after hearing the new single
Fall out Boy – with the new boyband feel should be cool
The Klaxons
The Good, the bad, and the Queen – Deman Albarns new band..very exciting
Hopefully 2007 should be another good year…ive already planned some new albums to buy! Enjoy!
What a week its been since Christmas! (which went sooo quickly!)
I’m back in Falmouth now after my two week stint at home which was nice (as you have seen in my blog) feel like life has gone back to normal!
This week has been busy. Been trying to too see everyone that I could in Kent before I left. I went to Brighton on Wednesday night (you can see some of my pictures on Facebook) had a really good night actually and woke up on Thursday morning with a massive hangover (which has lasted about 2 days!).
Im on a big work load today…just in between shifts at work! I go back at 6 for new year behind the bar…it should be a good night as two of my mates are Djing.
Neway im going to leave this here….i will give you a new blog tomorrow…

What a man….was in a massive car crash while filming a new series of top gear and suvives to tell the story…with little injury…i would say he is one of the best presenters of our time…

Yeah i know this is the end of the day (well for the UK anyway) but i wish Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays) to everyone in the blog world.
I know its a bit wierd to be online on Christmas day…but to be honest the only reason i came on was to check out what was happening in the sales tomorow! (well its for my mum)

Ive had a nice day..alot of laughing! (not good in the middle of Christmas dinner with your grandma sitting beside you wondering why you are crying with laughter) For me Christmas is a big family day..as i spend most of my time in cornwall due to work and uni its nice to spend some quality time with them when im back!
Got some nice presents to…and wathced some good Christmas Telli! (yep i did watch the queen speech!)
Well there is only 25mins left till the end of Christmas day…so Merry Christmas to you all!
And hope you sleep well…even though your bellys are full or turkey!
Only about 50 mins to go and we will hit christmas 2006….which i am quite exctied about!
Had a very Christmasy Day as you can see…decorated a cake. Spent the eveing Carol Singing and just about to head off to Midnight Mass at my Local Church….so i have to say its been a good Christmas Eve..
Also like a kid ive been tracking Santa Across the globe! been brill…think he has just gone past Paris???
