Its what every Sunday should be……spent chilling out watching telli….tidying room…sorting out life…..(recovering from a hangover)
But as you can see by the picture my day hasn’t been wasted…after getting anther 75 photos printed last week, I have extended my photo wall so it now stretches my room…he he he and ive made another one to….but portrait this time. Its scary to think these photos are mainly from the summer and un until freshers… I guess by the end of the year its going to be massive….
Most of the photos (if you haven’t seen them) are on my flickr..

Also im going pink for a week, no I haven’t come out…. But I am wearing something pink everyday.
Satuday is the FXU party in Pink at the Stannary fro breast caner awareness…so to promote the cause and the party I will be in pink for a week.
Its been a bit off a challenge….unlike the president tag I didn’t own any pink till Friday…now I have 2 shirts, 1 tshirt, 1 scarf, 1 lanyard and a belt……and to be honest ive been told by my housemate that I can pull of pink…
Ive refused to buy pink for years…but now I own some and its not that bad.
So if ur around on sat come along…and if u see me in pink say hello….
My Website is now live….mainly links at the moment…more updates to come soon….have a look.
One night this week I was walking back from a night out at the beach café…when for the first time in a while I caught the strong smell of sea weed. When it hit me it reminded me where I was….where I live…and what I would be missing if I left.
Since starting back at college everyone has been talking about what they are going to do when they finish….for me I really have no idea at the moment…do I stay at uni for another year and go for president….do I move to a city (Manchester, London, Bristol, Cardiff)….do I go abroad….currently the possibilities are endless.
All I do know is that I don’t really want to return to Kent on a full time basis. I know its where my family is…and I love my parents and my brother and sister but I don’t think there is enough there to want me to come back….The UK is an exciting place that for me has loads of places to be discovered…
It might be the independence of uni and all…and living so far from home.
Going back to the smell…..Falmouth currently has a very special place in my heart…..I love being by the coast..i love being in cornwall…I love my life down here.
It’s been a busy couple of weeks and currently its not slowing down for a while. Having two projects running at the same time….and being 3rd year they are both really important. So for the moment im going to enjoy what ive got…..and savour what I have left of my uni life….a year is a long time..
On another note…been listening to a lot of bands recently and loving a lot of new music. Today though ive got this amazing track that would be great to own.
Detox (aka my mate farn) has a track on his myspace called “Grandpa to Grandson”. He told me to listen to it the other day…and I think its one of his best. Im not saying I know my hip hop but truly I think he could go far.. the deep lyrics are what get it for me and the sense of family the song has….
Check him out @
To the delight of some of my friends…and to the bewilderment of others i have to say that the ‘emo’ fringe has now gone!!!
It had been growing all summer…and well on saturday i think i needed a change…
Its amazing the effect a hair cut has……i know ive got a reputation of changing it all the time but i think now i will stick to the old quiff…but im not going to let it grow as long as before.
My housemate Anna reaction was “oh..the old steve is back….i liked the fringe”
I have gone back to this hair style since the age of 12…think i suites me better…look better without my glasses to!
Apart from the Hair…the life of mates steve is still as busy..which i why i havent written on this blog for a bout 2 weeks.
Being in the 3rd year…my work load has increased and become alot more important to me…as it effects my final grade. My projects though are exciting….really enjoying thinking of something that will amaze people and be really creative and with my lovely team mates i think it will be really good fun!

Well Last Night was the Legendary PORN NIGHT..
Porbably one of the most original freshers events…i had a really good time…
One major event left and then freshers is all over!!! boo hoo!!
Neway have a look at my Flickr Picture..click on the links on this page…
It really was, it was one of those nights where you are with a good group of friends and you have such an awesome time. You dance to some really cheesy classics…including the makaraina (which I new the whole dance to…he he) it was just really nice. The reason it was extra special was that it was a boat party organised by friend Charlton for his uni society (of biology, ecology, geography students). The boat took us around the bay of the river Fal and up the river towards Truro. Even in the dark Falmouth looked amazing…it was really amazing and beautiful to see it from a different side. Even along the river in the dark it cornwall looked amazing. It was a very special and exciting experience…I loved it.
Its been an interesting couple of weeks with me. Started back at Uni yesterday which was nice….but suddenly realised the amount of work I have to do this year…and that I only really have one year left of my uni life!
The life in the SU has been good…until I was ill for a couple of day and missed loads of events that I really wanted to go to!!! Grr! Well that’s just life really. Horns and Halos was the first major event and was awesome. Its nice to see people appreciate the work that the sabbatical guys in the Su do! Congrats guys…
As usual the life of Steve is going to get even more busy as term progresses…but its going to be exciting!

Change of the Sexes
October 22, 2006 in Comment, Life | Leave a comment
I was reading this article today from one of the Sunday magazines (well it was Stella Magazine in the Sunday Telegraph 15th October 2006) and it jogged into my memory what I was going to blog about ages ago.
The article was titled “Why Cant this man get a Girlfriend”. The article is about how the sexes have changed over the last 10 year. From a time when women were seen as desperate to get a man (as in Bridget Jones Diary) to a time now when women want the single life and it’s the men who want to settle down.
The article talks to several men in there late 30’s who all get broody when they are in Gap and see small trainers, want to have kids and just want to settle down. Defiantly a change in roles.
The reason I wanted to blog this article is that I have seen this trend in my friends to. Some of my bloke mates just seem like they want to settle down already (yeah I know they are all in their early twenty’s) but its more of a desire than a reality.
I think it’s the way the culture of being a man has changed. Men are moving away from the laddish, beers swilling, nuts reading image…and to the metro sexual man, more caring and sharing, GQ reading man.
But women are changing to take the role of the man. As the article suggests more women are scared of commitment to early, they want to play the field more, like the single lifestyle and love to hang out with their friends.
Before anyone says anything, this is just a trend. Everyone is an individual and everyone thinks differently about his or her life.
But I believe the change of the sexes is upon us…
